FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
many of these questions are answered in the links above for consignors and volunteers...please be sure to read those documents so you fully understand the rules and guidelines of our sale!  Thanks!
* How do I register for the sale?  Please read the consignor information provided in the "Online Documents" above.  You will need to register online, enter your tags online, and print your tags on approved cardstock.  You can print off a registration form that is also available on this webpage under "Online Documents" and bring it with you when you arrive to drop-off your items.  Be sure to also bring your $5 registration fee.

*Do I need to bring a self-addressed stamped envelope? No, your registration fee will cover that
*Do I have to use the barcoded tags online?  What if I have already tagged items by hand or in the old format?  We regret that will NOT be able to accept ANY items that have not been tagged & printed through our website.  We have taken every measure to try to alert our previous consignors to our new procedures.  We apologize for any inconvenience, but we know you will love the new system once you try it!  If you have already tagged your items, we recommend that you enter the items in the system online, then staple or tape the new tag to the old one (just be sure not to tape or staple anywhere near the barcode).  This way, you will not have to re-pin items which will save you some time.

*What type of cardstock do I need?  You need to either purchase the cardstock at cost at the church office or go to any local office supply store and purchase any cardstock between 60 and 67lbs.  Remember to use white cardstock for items you would like returned to you should they not sell.  Use pastel green cardstock for items that you would like to donate if they do not sell.

*If I choose to donate items that do not sell (i.e., use pastel green cardstock), will I still get a check for my other proceeds?  Yes, unless you opt to donate your PROCEEDS on your registration form, you will be reimbursed for 70% of all items that sell.  Using green tags only tells us to donate the item the tag is attached to if it does not sell.

*How do I sort my items for drop off?  BEFORE drop-off, be sure to sort your items.  Garments should be sorted by gender and size only.  This way, our volunteers can place them directly on the racks.  Keep toys of like gender and type together if you have more than a small boxful.  Keep books & videos together.  Keep games & puzzles together.  Keep baby items (blankets, onesies, bath items, diaper bags, nursing items, boppies, etc) together.  Keep shoes, socks, hats, swim items, & accessories together.  All bedding and room decor can also be kept together.  Be organized when you arrive. Because of the growth of our sale, we simply cannot allow sorting in the Family Life Center...you will be asked to sort at your car or outside away from the primary walkways for registrants that are ready for drop-off.

*Do I have to bring my clothes already on hangers?  YES!  Clothes will not be accepted if they are not on hangers

*Are there any items that I cannot bring to the sale?  YES!  We do not allow car seats, stuffed animals, VHS videos, maternity clothes or any items that are outdated, of poor quality, or incomplete.

*Are there any items that are automatically donated if they do not sell?  YES!  As stated in the brochure, books will not be returned to you.  It is too laborious for us to sort through all these given the volume we receive.  We will be happy to donate them to a worthy charity if they do not sell.

*How do I attach the tags to my clothes?  The best way to attach the tags to your garments is to use small safety pins.  You will pin the tag ABOVE the line separating the two portions of your tag (i.e., above where it says "myconsignmentmanager.com" at the top of the tag).

*I'm still confused about which shoulder of the garment to place the tag on.  If you are still confused about the wording, the best thing for you to do is probably check out the picture under consignor information.  When you are placing the tag on the left shoulder of the garment, disregard your own perspective and "BE the garment".

*Can I consign nursery & kid's furniture?  YES

*I am having trouble accessing the PDF to print my tags.  I click on the PDF link and nothing seems to happen?  Try to click on the PDF and then quickly move your cursor over the PDF link...you will likely see a little yellow "alert" symbol.  It may take you a few tries to "catch" it, but once you do, right click on it when you see it.  When you right click on it, you will have the option to open the document in a new tab or in a new window.  Select either one and you should see the document.

*I have not received a print code.  Do I need one to print my tags?  NO!  We have worked with the sale management system to make tag printing even easier for you.  As long as you login directly through the link on this webpage, you will not need a print code.

*How do I check to see what shifts I have signed up to volunteer for?  All you have to do is log in through this website.  Once on your main screen, select "volunteer".  When you do this, all available shifts will be displayed on your screen.  The ones you are signed up for will be marked in a different color (almost a yellow) and will be marked "SELECTED."

*How do I know if I qualify for the presale?  Presale shopping is for our qualified volunteers only.  In order to qualify, you MUST work three shifts OR two shifts with one of those being a Saturday.  If you are qualified for the presale, you should have already received an email invitation.  Your name will not appear on the presale sign-in list if you change your shifts in a manner such that you are no longer eligible for this special event.
