Men's Ministries

As men in the Methodist tradition, the Weddington United Methodist Men seek to further the Kingdom of God through evangelism and service. We also feel the responsiblity to educate ourselves to become men seeking God's will in our lives, to be the spiritual leaders of our families, and to follow the example of Jesus by assisting those less fortunate than ourselves.

We meet in the Youth Section of the Family Life Center from 7:45 to 9:00 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month for fellowship, Bible study and mission work sessions in conjunction with a wonderful breakfast. Please feel welcome to bring your children and guests!

Planned Programs/Events

Methodist Men’s Group Breakfast
All meetings are in the Family Life Center (Youth Section) from 7:45 to 9:00 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. Topics are presented that are relevant to men with a spiritual growth emphasis, and often focus on missions and related topics. All men are invited to attend and encouraged to bring a friend.

Year-end recap and elections will be held for 2009 officers. All men and their guests are invited to attend to learn more about our Men’s Ministry.
