A singing choir produces a singing church. Many times churches are slow to respond to God's leading in the area of hymn singing, and they are simply reflecting the choir's level of enthusiasm. The Chancel Choir, and the Choir which leads the worship during the service at 8:15 each Sunday, are important in leading people in hymns and praise songs. The first commitment of a choir member is his personal walk with the Lord. The second commitment of a choir member is faithful attendance to rehearsals in order to learn the music skillfully.
