Chancel Choir

The Psalmist directs the church of God to 'make a joyful noise unto the Lord.' Choir is one way to use your talent, it be great or small.
Over a period of years, the choir builds a repertoire of anthems which meets the needs of the preaching theme of any given Sunday. The important thing in becoming a part of the choir is not talent, but dedication to God in faithful service. Several in the choir do not read music, but they are taught to read music through regular attendance at rehearsals.
Singing praises to the Lord is one of the most rewarding experiences in the Christian life. Singing in the choir is a spiritual calling into ministry.
The Chancel Choir leads out in the Blended service, singing anthems and other repertoire. The Praise Band accompanies the Contemporary service.
The Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
in the Choir Room (Nursery is provided). New members are ALWAYS welcome!

Prime Chimers
The Senior Adult Choir is known for their enthusiasm for life, being active, and singing all kinds of music. Whether you consider yourself a senior adult or not, you are invited to join this choir. Charles and Kay Mathews are directors. They both have a love for gospel music and the old hymns, as well as secular-popular music from past decades.
The choir enjoys singing and ministering outside of the church doors. One favorite activity is giving programs for other senior citizen groups as well as ministering in nursing home facilities.
Rehearsals are on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. in the Choir Room. They rehearse each week through May, take the summer off and begin rehearsals again in the fall of each year.
