Communications Assistant 

Karen creates  the weekly newsletter, updates our website and develops the multi-media presentations for  the worship services each Sunday.

How long on staff:  She joined us in October of 2006.

Education:

She is a magna cum laude graduate of Wingate University with an Associate of Science in Medical Office Assisting and a summa cum laude graduate of Queens College with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems.

Background:

Her past work experience includes medical transcriptionist for Charlotte Plastic Surgery Center, and 13 plus years at Duke Energy Corporation, where she served as a Transportation Department Systems Administrator, supporting 22 facilities in North and South Carolina,  and a Micro and Mainframe Computer Hardware/Software Purchasing Agent.

Hobbies and Interests:

Reading, music, card making/scrapbooking and travel.
