The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
The women of Weddington Church invite you to join us in our women’s groups, Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and as volunteers in church ministries. The United Methodist Women hosts casual events in an effort to build cohesiveness between all the women’s groups of the church and to reach out to ladies that are new to the church or are still looking for ways to get involved and connected.

A circle is a smaller group of women who meet on a regulat basis for fellowship, prayer, bible study, work on mission projects, and to share the love of Christ. view more info

Women Who Care
'A group of women who are dedicated to reaching out by reaching within. Seeking God in our hearts, as it is only by his grace that we are empowered to serve. We reach out within the church and within ourselves.' One of the main events for the Women Who Care is the annual Women's retreat.
