Established in 1995, Upward SportsTM is the world’s largest Christian youth sports provider. Upward SportsTM uses the 360 Progression that helps develop athletes mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially – producing players who excel both on and off the field.

Weddington Church is proud to offer a variety of Upward SportsTM leagues and sessions.

Mission and Information

As always, in keeping with our philosophy of creating even, balanced teams, we do not take player or coach requests.

We are a volunteer organization and we rely on your help to have a successful ministry! If you’d like to volunteer, even if you don’t have children playing, please click here.

If you are registering players, you can sign up to coach or volunteer during the registration process. We’ll be sure to send you all of the important coach and referee training dates.

Our mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ with everyone involved in our program! Players will learn basketball and cheerleading basics along with Bible scriptures and life lessons from our volunteer coaches!
