Spring/Summer Sale

March 6th and 7th, 2020

Mark your calendars for the Weddington Kids Consignment Spring/Summer Sale on March 6 & 7.  The sale is 100% volunteer run and is not possible without WMC member support. Registration is now open to volunteers! Our Family Life Center and Youth Center will be packed with more than 30,000 gently used items for a fraction of the retail price from several hundred consignors. The sale ranges from newborns to teens and you will find name-brand clothes, furniture, books, toys, bikes, equipment, & more.

We need over 350 volunteer shifts filled to be able to welcome thousands of shoppers and have a successful sale.  Please consider helping out for 1 or 2 shifts. If you have a teen that needs to get volunteer hours, this is a great opportunity to serve. We can definitely find a spot for your strengths and always have lots of food and fellowship too! We need strong muscles for heavy lifting and warm friendly faces for greeting and talking to our shoppers all while serving our mission of being the hands and feet of Jesus. Plus, volunteers will get to shop EARLY before the doors open to the public!

For more information please visit our website, watch our Facebook page, or reach out to us at  The bi-annual Kids Consignment sale raises money that supports the church and local missions. Union County charities such as Operation Reach-Out, Turning Point, House of Pearls, Camp Lurecrest, Matthews Help Center, UC Crisis Assistance, UC Community Shelter, The Closet of Southbrook Church, Dressed for Success, and Help Crisis Pregnancy Center are examples of organizations that benefit from the success of the Weddington Kids Consignment Sale through monetary gifts and unsold item donations from generous consignors.  Within the church, money is allocated to the general budget, scholarships for youth mission trips, a youth college scholarship, children’s ministries, Weddington Christian Preschool, Weddington Christian Academy, and to United Methodist Women outreach programs to name a few.

Last year WKC was able to donate almost $50,000 back to many ministries of the church and local organizations.  For more information visit our website and find us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
