3rd Thursdays, 5:30–7:15 p.m., Community Shelter of Union County (160 Meadow Street, Monroe NC)

The Community Shelter of Union County provides emergency shelter, food, and rehousing services to homeless men, women, and children. They provide three meals each day or 80-90+ people, serving both shelter clients and anyone in the community who is hungry and in need of a meal. As a church, we have committed to providing, preparing and serving dinner on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Gather a small group, family or friends, plan a menu, and enjoy the fellowship of cooking and serving together! Click the “How to” Button below for all the details!

THANK YOU to our Church community for the outpouring of support for this ministry! At this time, all of our monthly commitments for 2024 are full to serve Supper on the third Thursday of each month.

Looking for additional ways to serve? Consider providing and serving breakfast or lunch – Check out the Community Shelter’s website HERE for available options and to sign up. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus and for helping us feed our neighbors in need! Please contact Aaron Smith with any questions or help finding an opportunity to serve.
