"The living core of the Christian faith is revealed in Scripture, illumined by tradition, vivified in personal experience, and confirmed by reason."
Our Mission
To fulfill our call to make disciples of Jesus Christ by worshiping God with passion, intentionally growing in faith, proclaiming the gospel with grace, and humbly serving in love.
Our Vision
To be a Discipleship Academy.

Scripture
We recognize the canonical books of the Old and New Testament to be holy scripture as the inspired word of God. We believe the Bible is our final authority against which all other authorities must be tested. The Bible contains all that is necessary for salvation. We believe the Bible was written by human beings who were called by God and inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Creeds
We affirm the historic orthodox faith professed in the Apostles Creed (A.D. 250) and the Nicene Creed (A.D. 381).
Methodism
Methodism began as a bible study in a small room in England at Oxford University in the 1700s led by The Rev. John Wesley and his brother, The Rev. Charles Wesley. The People called Methodists are called to make disciples of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20) and to spread scriptural holiness (1 Peter 1:15-16).
Methodism, or Wesleyan theology, celebrates God’s grace in offering the gift of Salvation:
– Prevenient Grace is God’s love and grace that is at work in our lives long before we are aware of it. (Psalm 139:13; Jeremiah 1:5)
– Convincing or Convicting Grace is God’s work through the presence of the Holy Spirit to lead us to recognize our need and desire for God’s saving grace. (Matthew 4:17)
– Justifying Grace is God’s grace that offers forgiveness and new birth. (John 3:16; Acts 16:31)
– Sanctifying Grace is God’s grace that then leads us deeper into discipleship, a deeper relationship with God, and living in all of life as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. Scriptural holiness reflects the unity of faith and practice, belief and life. (1 Peter 1:15-16; Galatians 5:13-25)
Ministry and Mission: The people called Methodists have always believed that faith, ministry, and mission are inseparable as Jesus taught in Matthew 25:31. Orthodoxy (right belief) is demonstrated in orthopraxy (right practice). The great commandments to love God and to love others is an imperative, not simply sentiment.

Global Calling
The Great Commission calls on the church to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20). Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life John 3:16 (NIV). John Wesley proclaimed: “I look upon all the world as my parish; thus far I mean, that, in whatever part of it I am, [it is my] duty to declare unto all that are willing to hear, the glad tidings of salvation. This is the work which I know God has called me to; and sure I am that his blessing attends it.” (from Wesley’s journal entry on 11 June 1739).
We celebrate our connected ministry with Christians and churches across the world. We celebrate God’s love and call for all people. In response to Jesus’ call in Acts 1:8 to, “be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (NIV), we will serve locally, domestically, and internationally in the name of and on behalf of our Lord Jesus Christ.
